Community rules
Haihui runs on trust: your map is your story, and community-proposed places become everyone's map. The rules below keep things fair and enjoyable for everybody.
1. Log only real trips
Your journal is a personal record, but ranks and trending places are built from it. Log trips you actually took — past ones included. Systematically logging fictional trips to climb ranks leads to a rank reset and, if repeated, account suspension.
2. Respect the places
The principle is simple: leave a place as you found it, or better. No litter, no fires outside designated pits, no picking flowers in reserves, no climbing on monuments. In journals, avoid publishing exact coordinates for fragile places — describe the area, not the pin.
3. Propose real places, described honestly
From the Drumeț rank you can propose new places. Propose only public, legally accessible places with accurate descriptions: how to get there, how long it takes, what there is to see. No private land without consent, no own businesses disguised as "hidden gems", no duplicates of existing places.
4. Validate with care
From the Haiduc rank you validate community proposals. Approve only what you would vouch for yourself: a real place, an honest description, no undeclared risks. Reject politely, with a short reason — the proposer invested time.
5. Journals and photos
Write about your experience, not about other people without their consent. Photos must be your own. No commercial content, spam, hate speech or personal attacks. Journals that break the rule are removed; accounts that insist get suspended.
6. Meetups
Community outings are between equals: the host proposes the route and is not responsible for participants. Come equipped, say so if you can no longer make it, and leave nobody behind on the trail. Participation is at your own risk.
7. How the rules are enforced
Report violations to contact@pixin.ro. Depending on severity: a warning, content removal, a rank reset or account suspension. Decisions can be appealed by replying to the notification e-mail within 14 days.
