Terms and Conditions
Last updated: 24 August 2026
1. Service operator
The Haihui platform ("Haihui" or the "Service") is operated by AMBITIOUS NOMAD MEDIA SRL, fiscal code (CUI) 47086491, Trade Registry no. J13/3906/2022, headquartered in Constanța, Romania, e-mail contact@pixin.ro. By using the Service you accept these terms. If you do not agree with them, please do not use the Service.
2. Service description
Haihui is a trip log for Romania: users mark their trips, color in visited counties on a personal conquest map and climb ranks. All entries are self-reported: Haihui does not verify a user's physical presence at a logged place and does not request device location. Place information (season, crowding, access) is indicative and does not replace checking real conditions before a trip.
3. Accounts and usage rules
Creating an account requires a valid e-mail address or a Google account and a minimum age of 16. You are responsible for the activity on your account. It is forbidden to: publish unlawful or defamatory content or content that infringes others' rights; systematically log fake trips to manipulate ranks or rankings; use the Service for unsolicited commercial messages; access the Service through abusive automated means. Breaching these rules may lead to suspension or closure of the account, with prior notice where the law requires it.
4. User content and license
You remain the owner of the content you publish (journal notes, photos, proposed places). By publishing, you grant Haihui a non-exclusive, royalty-free license, for as long as your account exists, to host, reproduce and display that content within the Service, within the limits of your visibility settings. Proposed places that were approved remain public after account closure, credited to your username, to preserve the integrity of the community map; you can request anonymised crediting by writing to contact@pixin.ro.
5. Ranks and moderation
Ranks (Boboc, Drumeț, Hoinar, Haiduc, Voievod) are computed automatically from the number of logged trips and distinct counties visited. Rank-gated rights include proposing new places (from Drumeț) and validating community proposals (from Haiduc). Haihui may adjust rank thresholds and may withdraw rights in case of abuse. Place proposals are community-moderated and may be rejected without a detailed justification.
6. Subscriptions: Partener Local
The explorer account is free. The only paid subscription is Partener Local, aimed at local businesses: 490 lei per year, paid annually in advance. The subscription renews automatically at the end of the period; renewal can be stopped at any time from the account settings, taking effect at the end of the paid period. Prices include VAT.
7. Right of withdrawal
For subscriptions purchased online you have a 14-day right of withdrawal from purchase, under Romanian GEO 34/2014, with a full refund — except where you expressly consented to the immediate start of the digital content and confirmed you understand you thereby lose the right of withdrawal. Withdrawal requests go to contact@pixin.ro.
8. Liability
The Service is provided "as is". To the extent permitted by law, Haihui is not liable for: travel decisions made based on information in the Service; content published by users; temporary interruptions of the Service. Nothing in these terms limits liability for damage caused intentionally or through gross negligence, or any liability that cannot lawfully be limited. Always check real conditions (weather, access, safety) before a trip.
9. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms for legal, technical or product-development reasons. Significant changes will be announced in the app or by e-mail at least 15 days before taking effect. Continuing to use the Service after that date means accepting the new terms.
10. Governing law and dispute resolution
These terms are governed by Romanian law. Disputes are settled amicably or by the competent courts in Romania. Consumers may use alternative dispute resolution (SAL) via ANPC — details at https://anpc.ro/ce-este-sal/ — and the EU online dispute resolution platform (ODR): https://ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr.
